Seismic Attribute Services
Target your prospects with a unique mix of 3D post-stack seismic attributes
tailored to your interpretation goals, budget, and timeline.
Attribute Service Overview
1. Data Conditioning
Attributes you can trust. Our comprehensive data evaluation and QC process corrects data quality issues that can affect attribute calculations. If a dataset leads to unreliable results, we let you know before you incur costs.
2. Attribute Computation
The right attributes for your project. Resolve computes a variety of seismic attribute, frequency enhancement, and spectral decomposition volumes, giving you unprecedented access to the most relevant attributes for your goals.
Available Attributes
Curvature Attributes
Highlight faults, fractures, structure, velocity and porosity changes, and more with a variety of conditioned curvature attributes. This suite incorporates industry-standard attributes from the Attribute-Assisted Seismic Processing and Interpretation (AASPI) Consortium and other helpful attributes from Resolve GeoSciences, Inc.
Attributes include:
- Sweetness
- Max/Pos/Neg Curvature
- Max/Pos/Neg Amplitude Curvature
- Energy Ratio
- 1st/2nd Derivative of the Envelope
- Coherent Energy (Frequency)
Potential Applications:
Fault/Edge Detection, Fractures, Structure, Horizon Mapping, Lateral Continuity, Channels, Sediment/Lithology Changes, Gas/Permeability Changes, Velocity/Porosity
Resolve HQ Bandwidth Extension
Reveal subtle character, improve fault definition, and recover continuity with a frequency enhancement process that preserves the data’s relative amplitudes, maintains time and phase consistency, and filters back to the original frequency range.
Attributes include:
- Resolve HQ
- Resolve HQ-Tite
- Resolve HQ-AGC
- Relative Acoustic Impedance (HQ)
- Sweetness (HQ)
- PseudoRelief
Potential Applications:
Fault/Edge Detection, Channels, Sediment/Lithology Changes, Unconformities, Velocity/Porosity, Lateral Continuity
Our Frequency Enhancement Philosophy:
Many techniques are used to extend and/or enhance frequencies, but not all methods maintain the input data integrity.
We believe that the original recorded frequencies must be the guide, so we developed our HQ technique to allow you to view all of the harmonics on the upsampled data while maintaining the original amplitude ranges and relative phase changes.
Spectral Decomposition
Analyze thin beds, channels, and stratigraphic changes with frequency and phase-based attributes. This suite includes proprietary spectral decomposition attributes from Resolve GeoSciences, Inc.
Attributes include:
- TFreq (Frequency of the Maximum Amplitude)
- PFreq (Frequency That Produced the Greatest Change in Phase)
- Maximum Amplitude
- Maximum Phase
- PDiff (Phase Difference)
- PStability (Phase Stability)
- Interval Volumes (Envelope, Phase, Trace)*
*optional depending on project goals
Potential Applications:
Channels, Gas/Permeability Changes, Sediment/Lithology Changes, Velocity/Porosity, Fault/Edge Detection, Unconformities, Lateral Continuity, Horizon Mapping
